Snake Dance Theater

Snake Dance Theater Company (SDT) entertains as it educates audiences in Boston and throughout New England with traditional Egyptian and Turkish style bellydance, Middle Eastern folk, American cabaret and Fusion bellydance. Their current repertoire includes excerpts from there extravagant production In 2014 “Egyptomania: A Love Affair with the East”, along with a traditional Egyptian style, oriental, rommany gypsy dance, silk fan dance, Egyptian stick dance and Saudi Arabian Khaleeji. They earned the City Spotlight award in 2008 and have appeared in numerous television programs and newspapers in Boston and Cambridge. Memorable performances include shows at the Citi Performing Arts Center, Boston Center for the Arts, John Hancock Center, MIT's Kresge Auditorium, Fenway Park, and for the opening of Bellydance Superstars "Club Belly Dance". They continue to perform at festivals like: Green Fest, Dance for World Community and Figment.
