Alive Dance Collective is a small company of contemporary dancers. The Boston area group was founded in 2014 when artistic director Brenna Banister was looking for a way to create meaningful work with a group of talented and dedicated dancers. The company meets regularly to create and present contemporary choreography for various performances, festivals, and just for fun! Alive strives to present work that is original, creative, and that audiences can connect to on a profound and personal level. Our work addresses aspects of the human experience that are not always seen, but felt. Through contemporary movement, we tell stories about our own life experiences and support each other’s journeys.
