Come one come all to the Goondocks annual Porchfest Extravaganza! This year we're breaking out of the porch, out of the yard, and playing IN THE STREET. Running approximately from 1pm till they shut us down at 8pm, we'll have a DJ between sets and a ton of space for dancing!

It's going to start as just me, with a guitar and an amp that's got all kinds of beats and with which I can sample/loop myself and then play with myself. I'll probably sing too.
I'm putting together a supergroup - looking for another guitarist, bassist, drummer, possibly keyboardist and a female vocalist (who of course may play one or more of the preceding instruments).
Understand I don't expect this crowd on my porch Saturday; it will be just me and if folks want to jam that's fine.

During the academic year of 2008-2009, Kris, Grant, Marji, and Dan would get together many evenings to play Beatles tunes in a shabby, lovely apartment on Bonnie Brae St. in Houston, Texas. This PorchFest reunion jam will feature tunes spanning the entire Beatles repertoire. Come join in on the back-up vocals. If you feel like it, bring your guitar. Or tambourine. Or sitar!
