We are a sing-along, strum-along group of ukulele players with members from Somerville and all over the Greater Boston Area. We pretty much just like to have fun playing music and don't take ourselves too seriously... after all, we are playing ukuleles! Stop by to listen or have some fun with us by singing along... or if you've got a ukulele, bring it with you and jump right in!

Come sing along with us, group karaoke porch-style! The line-up includes Sari Kalin on accordion, Vanessa Boulanger as songmaster and hostess, Jackson Mann on bass, Heather Wilson on guitar, and some very special musical guests. We will provide lyrics to some of the best and worst songs of the '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s, and '00s.

Dirigible Ego is a Somerville-based pop band entering its tenth year. Our music draw on influences from Broadway to prog rock, with a heavy grounding in the 1980s alternative rock of our twenties. Our 'porch' is a spacious side yard (you read that correctly: that Somerville rarity!) so we may be able to host a few other musicians. We plan on singing without amplification but there may be a small guitar and keyboard amp along for the ride. If you have an act that needs a home for PorchFest, get in touch and we'll talk about whether we're a good fit.

A family-friendly brass band that covers classic rock, pop, hip-hop, and country hits from the past four decades.
Though we're scheduled to play from 4-6pm, we'll actually be performing from 12-2pm. Sorry, Porchfest organizers! This was the only porch we could find, and the only time that worked for the band . . .
Catch us from the beginning of the Community Path on the east side of Davis Square - you'll be able to see and hear us while enjoying the sweet perfume of the community garden!
